VIRGIN PLUS

Virgin Mobile has rebranded to Virgin Plus and is now focused on offering enhanced customer experiences through their Benefits program. Virgin Plus requires a brand relaunch that will encourage consumers to sign up by promoting how their Benefits give them exclusive "plus'd" experiences. 

THE STRATEGY

The Aim

The aim is to position Virgin Plus as the go-to brand for exclusive access to social experiences.

Who Do We Need To Influence

Individuals, aged 16-30 who are in search of a phone plan that represents a vibrant and social lifestyle.

The Human Problem

The desire to connect is inherent in human nature. Individuals seek out avenues for establishing connections with others, whether it's through physical, emotional, or social means.

Consumer Truth

This target thrives on being social through shared experiences; they want to be apart of social environments where they can build connections through shared activities or conversations.

Cultural Truth

Human connections are built through shared experiences. Participating in shared experiences can facilitate meaningful connections that enhance our lives and promote social unity.

Brand Truth

Virgin Plus is committed to enhancing their customers' social lives. They understand their target market's interests and strive to not just provide a phone service, but also to serve as a source of support. They do this by providing exclusive experiences that compliment their customers' lifestyles.

We want the target to feel that Virgin Plus’ grants them access to exclusive experiences and events.

GET individuals, aged 16-30 who have a vibrant social life

WHY HINGE?

Alike Virgin, Hinge asserts itself as the app "where relationships begin". Both companies share a common objective centered around social connectivity, emphasizing the importance of establishing connections

HOW IT WORKS?

The collaboration aims to raise awareness about the rebrand by leveraging the HINGE app. When you find a match, you'll receive a one-time code for a discount that can be used at variety of restaurants or activities for your first date

Wild postings will be employed to promote the collaboration and will be placed near popular social, hangout, and dating locations

THE CAMPAIGN

Set to launch in February, strategically timed to align with the peak of the dating season centered around Valentine's Day
